Indian Railways (Bhartiya rail), is the public sector railway company of India, which possess and function the majority of the country's rail convey. It is managed by the Ministry of Railways of the Government of India.

It is full AC train and operates on long route destination. On the other hand, Shatabdi express, another full AC train is operated on short routes. Shatabdi express offers AC chair car coaches. Apart from them, Garib Rath is full AC train targeting the poor people.

There are several classes of accommodation in trains such as- AC Reserved (1A, 2A, 3A, AC-CC, Executive-CC), non AC Reserved (FC, SL, 2S) and Unreserved General.

There are various tourist trains- such as - Palace on Wheels, Royal Rajasthan on Wheels, Deccan Odyssey etc. Apart from these toy trains on New Jalpaigudi- Darjeeling and Shimla- Kalka routes adds glory to train tourism in India.
