Indian Railways (Bhartiya rail), is the public sector railway company of India, which possess and function the majority of the country's rail convey. It is managed by the Ministry of Railways of the Government of India.

There are several classes of accommodation in trains such as- AC Reserved (1A, 2A, 3A, AC-CC, Executive-CC), non AC Reserved (FC, SL, 2S) and Unreserved General.

Tourist Trains

There are various tourist trains- such as - Palace on Wheels, Royal Rajasthan on Wheels, Deccan Odyssey etc. Apart from these toy trains on New Jalpaigudi- Darjeeling and Shimla- Kalka routes adds glory to train tourism in India.
